Ibiza Cricket Club has been active in organising coaching classes and fun “Introductions to cricket” to children since 2023 – a focus which we will continue in 2025. The game of cricket has brought the Ibiza Cricket Club members great joy in our lives – cricket is the most amazing game & it can be played in so many diverse ways. Sport keeps us healthy, brings people together and gives us moments of such fun – definitely our members want to pass these qualities on to the next generation. This is why the ibiza Cricket Club hosts regular events for youth development throughout the year.

Our members hope that by promoting and educating the next generation of players, the fantastic traditions of cricket will continue.

Since 2023, ICC is proud to partner with Morna International College

Cricket was officially incorporated into the Morna International School curriculum for the whole Summer term, for the whole school, meaning we reached over 500 children, every week, teaching them the basics of cricket. The enterprise was a great success & won praise from the children & the school alike; Ibiza Cricket Club will be repeating this grand enterprise in Summer 2025.

We were extremely lucky to be able to draw upon the fantastic coaching skills of Molly Sellars, who is an active member of ICC club. Molly is also in the current Cricket Espana national squad , as well as being a qualified level 2 cricket Coach – so was in her element coaching !

We must also sing out our praises to Cricket Espana for encouraging us to coach the youth, and for backing up their encouragement both with materials, a budget & a structured course to teach to, which concentrated on children having fun.
